Instructions for the Pharmacy Technician Qualifying Examination Online Application

Welcome to the Qualifying Examination application. Please review eligibility for the Qualifying Exam and the following information before continuing.   

Applying on a mobile device may create issues that prevent the successful completion of your application.   
 

What you will need to apply:

  1. A valid Visa or MasterCard for the full application fee 
     
  2. An account with a username and password 
     
  3. Cookies enabled on your browser to ensure your information is private and secure

Once you have completed the online portion of the application you must:

  1. Print the PDF version of the application provided 
     
  2. Follow the application instructions for the Pharmacy Technician Qualifying Exam  
     
  3. Courier the paper application. You are also required to submit certified identification document(s) if you have not been previously accepted to take a PEBC Exam. PEBC must receive your paper application and certified identification document(s) (if applicable), at the PEBC office by 4:30 pm Eastern Time on the day of the application deadline. 
     
  4. Follow the instructions if you will request exam accommodations, including requests for any assistive devices (hearing aids, crutches, medical devices, etc.). Personal items that are permitted into the examination or require an exam accommodation may be different for Part I (MCQ) and Part II (OSPE). PEBC must receive all requests for exam accommodations by the exam deadline date

If you complete the online portion of the application but do not send PEBC the paper application:

  1. Your application will be withdrawn 
     
  2. You will be charged an administrative fee of $150 CAD
